Field and Reporting Support for Environmental Consulting Firms
Your client needs a site visit in Wichita next week and your nearest geologist is 600 miles away. Miller Environmental Assessment (MEA) is a local field and reporting partner for environmental firms working in the Midwest and beyond. We work under your templates, your QA process and your client relationship.
What we do for other firms
Phase I site reconnaissance. Site walk, adjoining-property review, interviews and a photo log in your format.
Full Phase I ESAs. Records review, historical research, site visit and a draft report on your template, with Environmental Professional sign-off available. More on our Phase I work.
Phase II field work. Boring layout, utility locates, driller oversight, soil and groundwater sampling, and chain of custody. More on our Phase II work.
UST closure oversight in Missouri and Kansas. Removal-day observation, PID screening, closure sampling and closure report drafting under MoDNR/MRBCA and KDHE requirements. More on UST closures.
Groundwater monitoring. Gauging, low-flow or bailer sampling, and hold-time coordination for quarterly or annual events.
Well installation oversight. Boring logs, well construction documentation and development.
Report writing overflow. Drafts of Work Plans, Phase I site history narratives and sampling reports when your staff are buried.
Third-party report review. An independent read of Phase I, Phase II or corrective action reports before they go out the door.
Why firms use us
Travel costs drop. A local geologist costs less than a flight, a rental car and two hotel nights.
You keep the client. We don't market to your clients, and our work goes out under your name.
Experienced hands. 14 years in the field, a Missouri Registered Geologist and Kansas Professional Geologist, and Environmental Professional qualification under 40 CFR 312.10.
Missouri UST expertise. Regular work on PSTIF-funded sites under MRBCA, from Work Plans and monitoring well networks to lab hold-time management.
Coverage
MEA is based in Kansas City. Phase I, Phase II and general field work are available across Kansas City, St. Louis, Omaha, Des Moines, Wichita and northwest Arkansas, with travel anywhere in the country for longer projects. UST removal and closure work is limited to Missouri and Kansas.
How to start
Send the site address, scope and deadline. We'll reply with a rate and available dates, and we can provide the onboarding paperwork your firm requires.
